Katie is the owner and author of Sprinkles of History. Although she currently is a 3rd-grade teacher, Katie considers herself to be a baker and historian at heart. She has a bachelor's degree in history and specifically loves American and food history. She is a second generation Italian-American and feels very connected to her heritage. She loves all things Italian, especially cannoli's! Her focus is on baking, the historical background of baked goods and recipe development. She considers herself to be an aspiring food photographer and loves the challenge of learning how to do new things.
